On the weekend of May 27th and 28th, you can attend workshops and lectures to learn and improve your skills. All classes include projects made with Malabrigo yarns.

Soraia is a pioneer of the knooking technique in Brazil. Knooking is a technique that uses a crochet hook with a cable attached to create a knitted fabric. In this workshop, she will teach how to make a beanie in brioche stitch. Do you want some adventure learning a new technique? That's the class you need!

Vivi will teach how to knit a pouch bag, including all the skills to sew the lining and the zipper. It will definitely be a fun project!

Also, there will be two lectures given by Paula Pereira and Viviane Basile. Paula will discuss her recently published book "Textured Knits" by Laine Publishing. The participants will be able to ask questions and learn more about Paula's creative process. Vivi will guide us through ten different types of sweater, cardigan, and blouse constructions to help us make more assertive choices when choosing a knitting project.

And last but not least, Novelaria organizes a famous online live shopping experience, where all the participants receive a Zoom link to join at a specific time during the festival. It's the perfect chance to add beautiful yarn to your stash at exceptional prices.

The festival will be held in Portuguese. Almost all the classes will happen online, except Viviane's Pouch Bag, which will take place at Novelaria Vila Madalena. So you can join if you are a walking distance from the store or on the other side of the globe.
