Salty Days Sweater is one of Veronika Lindberg's latest releases. It's knit from the top down, has dropped shoulders, and an oversized fit. The sweater combines stripes with textured motifs, including lace, ribbing, and cables. The sample piece was knit in a natural wool color, which gives it a timeless look; however, this design would also look great in bright colors.
The pattern calls for DK-weight wool yarn held together with a lace-weight silk mohair thread. The gauge is 17 stitches and 24 rows in 1 x 2 rib stitch measured over a 4x4” (10 x 10 cm) swatch. The pattern is available in 9 sizes, from 40 to 79” (100 to 197.5 cm).
